This project involves the design and development of a food choper/processor, from the conceptual phase to the final technical development for industrial production.
Formally, the product is defined by a minimalist, soft, and contemporary design language, with a completely rounded geometry and no sharp edges. This approach provides an elegant, friendly, and safe aesthetic, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into any modern kitchen. The motor is located at the back of the cooking chamber, creating an organic, ovoid-like form and fully concealing the technical components within the outer casing. To reduce weight and material, the base features a slight tilt and integrated feet, giving the visual impression that the object is floating. The side cutouts, created by material removal from the casing itself, serve as transport handles without adding extra parts. The interface combines a touchscreen with a control dial, offering a clear and highly intuitive interaction. The system uses graphic icons, allowing immediate understanding of programs and functions without text, making it accessible in any language.
The project began with a conceptual exploration phase through sketching, followed by 3D modeling and rendering, and finally technical definition for production. The result is a compact, functional, and elegant appliance where form, ergonomics, and engineering work together to create an intuitive and safe user experience.
